Privacy Policy

1The short version

We built docuredo so that your drawing files never touch our servers: they go from your browser straight to Autodesk cloud storage, are processed there, and are deleted from active storage within 48 hours. We keep the minimum needed to run the service. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used and Google Ads conversion measurement to know when our own ads lead to a purchase — and nothing beyond that.

2What we store

• Account email — if you create an account, we store the email address you sign up with.
• Job metadata — file names, file sizes, rule counts, timestamps, job status, and credit usage, so we can show your job history and account balance.
• Audit reports — the per-file report of what was replaced and what was skipped (which includes the matched text snippets), so you can review your results. The report is an output file: it lives in Autodesk cloud storage next to your corrected drawings and is deleted within the same 48-hour window. Our own database keeps only the counts — how many replacements and how many skips per file — not the text.
• Translation memory — if you use Translate, the individual lines of text from your drawings and their translations are kept against your account so the same line is not translated (or queried) twice. Your account email and job metadata persist too, but they contain no text from inside your drawings; translation memory is the only place we keep content taken from inside your drawings beyond the 48-hour file window. See section 5.
• Feedback you send us — if you post on the feedback page, we store what you wrote, the email address you gave, the page you were on, and your IP address (to limit abuse of the form). We keep it because we act on it and because it is the record of why we granted you credits. It is never published, never shared, and never used for marketing. Please do not paste confidential drawing text into a post — write about the problem instead, or use the Contact us form, which is not stored.

3What we do not store

• Your drawing files are never stored on our servers. Uploads go directly from your browser to Autodesk cloud storage over encrypted connections; results come back to you the same way. Our servers handle only the metadata above.
• No payment card data. Payments are handled entirely by our payment provider; card details never reach us.
• Contact us messages. The "Contact us" form emails your message (and any screenshot you attach) to us and keeps no copy in our database — only the time of the submission, so the form cannot be used to send mail in bulk. This is the opposite of the feedback page in section 2, which does store what you write; use Contact us when you need to show us a file.
• Measurement, not ad trackers. We use Google Analytics (how the site is used) and Google Ads conversion measurement (whether a click on one of our own ads led to a purchase). Both set cookies. We show no third-party ads, and your files and their contents are never shared with anyone for advertising.

4How files are handled

Uploaded files and generated outputs (corrected DWG, audit report, preview PDF) are stored temporarily in Autodesk cloud storage while a job runs and while results are available to download. They are deleted from active storage within 48 hours of job completion. Nothing in the product depends on files persisting longer, and there is no way for us to recover them after deletion from active storage.

5Translation memory

Translate works in two steps: we read the text out of your drawings, propose a translation for each unique line, and you approve or edit the list before anything is written back. To avoid charging you to translate the same line twice — and to keep your terminology consistent between jobs — we store those lines and their approved translations against your account.

• It is never shared between accounts. Your translations are visible only to your own account and are never used to answer anyone else’s translation.
• It holds drawing text, not drawing files. Only the individual text lines and their translations — no geometry, and no copy of the DWG.
• You can delete it at any time, from the Translate page. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
• It expires on its own. Lines that go unused for 12 months are deleted automatically.

If you would rather we did not keep this at all, clear it after each job — or contact us and we will disable it for your account.

6Third parties we rely on

• Autodesk — file storage and processing (Autodesk Platform Services). Content handled by Autodesk is subject to Autodesk's Privacy Statement.
• Anthropic — machine translation, used only when you run a Translate job. The individual lines of text from those drawings are sent to Anthropic's API to be translated; no drawing file is sent, and nothing is sent at all for ordinary find-and-replace jobs. Content handled by Anthropic is subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare — CDN and network security in front of the website.
• Migadu — email (account and support mail).
• Payment provider — checkout, invoicing, and payment processing for credit packs, acting as merchant of record. (Named on the checkout page.)

We do not sell your data to anyone.

7Your rights

You can request a copy of the data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at any time — email [email protected]. Files delete themselves within 48 hours regardless, and you can clear your translation memory yourself from the Translate page. Deleting your account removes your email, job history, translation memory and any feedback posts you sent from our systems. Credits already granted for feedback go with the account; we do not keep the post to justify them after you have gone.

8A note on sensitive data

The service is designed for technical drawings. Per the Terms of Service, do not upload files containing sensitive personal data (health, financial, government identification, biometric data).

9Who we are, changes, and contact

The data controller for the personal data described here is Deniz Nasibli, a sole proprietor trading as docuredo, operator of docuredo.com.
