If a file fails to process, its credits are returned to your balance automatically — no support ticket, no waiting. You are refunded whatever that drawing cost: one credit for a find-and-replace run, three for a translation. You can see refunded credits next to the failed file in your batch results.
A file that processes successfully but contains skipped replacements is not a failed file: skips are the service refusing to make an unsafe change, and every skip is listed in your audit report with its reason. That is the product working as designed.
Bought a pack and changed your mind? Unused credit packs are refundable within 14 days of purchase. Email [email protected] from the address you purchased with, and we will refund the purchase through the original payment method.
"Unused" means no credits from that pack have been spent. If you have used part of a pack and something has gone wrong, email us anyway — we would rather make it right than argue.
Payments and refunds are processed by our payment provider (the merchant of record for your purchase) on behalf of Deniz Nasibli, a sole proprietor trading as docuredo, to the original payment method. Provider processing times typically add a few business days.
Translating a drawing costs three credits, charged when the scan starts. A translation project must then be reviewed and applied within its 20-hour window; after that the uploaded drawings are deleted and the project can no longer be applied.
Credits for a scan are not refunded when the window lapses. By that point the scan, the machine translation and the full review list have already been produced — and the review list remains yours to export even after the window closes. A failed scan or a failed apply is different: those refund automatically, like any other failed file (section 1).
A new account receives 3 free credits. Nothing was paid for them, so there is nothing to refund if they are used — they exist so you can try the service on your own drawings before buying anything. If a file processed with a free credit fails, that credit is returned the same way a paid one is.
We sometimes send a personal invite link worth additional free credits. The same rule applies: nothing was paid, so nothing is refundable, and a file that fails still returns its credit. An invite works once — if you have already used yours, or its expiry date has passed, the link stops adding credits and says so before you sign up. Credits already in your account are unaffected by that date and never expire. We cannot exchange free credits for money, and an unused invite has no cash value.
